The Ministry of Education has redeployed the Biology teacher, Olaseni Oshifala, who was accused of molesting female students at Queen’s College to King’s College.
Oshifala was reportedly posted to King’s college pending the conclusion of fresh investigation by the education ministry. The sexual allegation against Oshifala was made in 2016 when the mother of a JSS 2 student accused the teacher of molesting her daughter.
Some other students reportedly made the same claim.
According to The Cable, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu in an interview said the government is planning to reopen investigation into the case.
There are six accusations by female students against Oshifala.

The Delta State Police Command has arrested the Cash Management Officer, Amina Oyewole ‘f’, the Chief Security Officer and two Drivers of a new generation bank in Asaba over an armed robbery attack between Otulu/Ubulu-Okiti along Asaba-Benin Expressway on Tuesday September 1, DAILY POST has gathered.
In a statement signed by the Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka and made available to DAILY POST, the arrests of the four suspects followed a preliminary investigation into the attack which revealed that, in a bid to cut corners, the bank officials illegally picked seven police officers from different locations, yet to be determined, and engaged them on an illegal escort for the conveyance of the sum of twenty-five million naira from its branch in Agbor to Asaba without using a serviceable, secure armored bullion van as required by law.
The Delta Police Command claimed that when the bank officials earlier approached the Operations Department of the Command for escort, their request was turned down on the grounds that the bank does not have a serviceable bullion van needed for such operations.
“Sadly, during the attack, one of the police escorts was fatally injured by the armed robbers who also emptied the twenty-five million naira (N25, 000,000.00) into their cars – a Honda Pilot Jeep and Toyota Corolla, Registration numbers unknown, and escaped.”
The Delta Police Command warned that henceforth banks requiring police escort must adhere to laid down regulations on special escort, especially during the ”ember” months.
The Command reassured members of the public that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring that the fleeing armed robbers are apprehended and brought to book just as it called on them to avail it of any information that will lead to the realization of this goal.

A 24-year-old man, Anusorn Saipin, has been arrested by Thailand police for allegedly slashing the throat of a five-year-old girl and dumping her body in an old septic well, at a deserted house in Kanchanaburi’s Sisawat district.
According to Bangkok Post, the young girl identified as Aye, went missing on Sunday and on the same day, police recovered a large fertilizer bag that contained Aye’s body from a septic tank about 40 metres from the girl’s house. The girl’s throat had been cut.
Surveillance footage in the area, however, showed Anusorn walking past and holding what appeared to be a construction equipment several hours before the girl’s body was uncovered.
The suspect who is a neighbor of the girl in Moo 1 village in Tambon Thakradan, was arrested at about 8.20am on Tuesday, September 5, while hiding in a forest behind a primary school.
Police said an autopsy found no trace of sexual assault although the cut across the girl’s throat was about 8cm long.
