How to distinguish between an original and fake phone.
Before you purchase a new phone, turn it on and then, dial * # 0 6 #. It will display the serial number (or IMEI number) which may be fifteen (15) digits or more, but must begin with 35...
After that, check whether the number shown is the same with the number at the back of the phone when you remove the battery base.
If it is not fake, the numbers would be the same, if fake, it would be different. You may check your phone right away to decipher if you are using a fake or original phone.
